Douk is an upgrade on the traditional derby lace-up, as it has in-built Mephisto comfort technology. The rich supple leather offers quality in abundance, providing reassuring comfort and style for both formal and informal attire. The apron toe design keeps the finish mostly formal, and Douk comes in chestnut brown of smooth black leather.

Hydro-protection has become more and more prevalent in recent years. Douk offers an alternative to the membrane shoes, and the leather is treated to offer improved water and weather resistance. Mephisto state that although their hydro-protect technology isn’t waterproof, it does provide better protection against water penetration.

The insole is a removable ‘air-jet’ type, which encourages air to circulate around the foot as the wearer walks. Aside from the leather, the sole is made from Indian rubber, which boosts the cushioning at all areas of potential pressure underfoot. Douk is a superbly stylish and cushioned derby, worth a try in the shop for sure.

When your order arrives, please take the time to try on your new shoes on a carpeted area so you are happy they fit, look great and bring you joy!

If they don't, that's no problem. Due to Covid-19, we have temporarily extended our returns period from 30 to 100 days, and this applies to any items purchased from 1st Feb 2020. We will be happy to offer you an exchange, refund, credit note or gift voucher.
