If you have had a taste of retail and are interested in taking your role further then an Assistant Manager or Supervisors position is your next step. With these positions, you will go through our Management Training Programme which enables you to develop all the skills you need. Our Assistant Managers and Supervisors need to be sales and target driven, passionate about selling, willing to learn, positive, determined, pro-active, motivated and driven to ensure they achieve any challenge. Along with the personality to inspire and create a fun, energised environment in which they and their team can Shine!

Core Responsibilities; sell our products, achieve targets through driving sales, control the sales floor, plan and organise each day, motivate the team inspiring them to provide amazing customer service, staff training, manage the stock and merchandise the shop floor and window.

Retail management is preferred for our manager roles, though you will go through our Management Training Programme regardless of experience. The programme is in-house therefore teaches you specific skills expected of a Manager at Rogerson Shoes! Our shops are supported by our Head Office team in Peebles in the Scottish Borders. The Head Office team is made up of Finance, Buying & Merchandising, HR & Training, Operations and Warehousing. The responsibilities and skills required for Head Office will vary depending on the role.

We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information if you think it is incorrect. There may be occasions where we cannot agree to your request, however if this is the case, we will tell you the reason and your right to complain to the Information Commissioner.

Disposal of Your Data

We retain all information we collect during the recruitment process, for a period of 6 months after the post has been filled. This is to ensure that if asked we can provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates and deal with any queries about the recruitment process. After this period, for all unsuccessful candidates, all information held electronically is securely deleted and any paper copies of application forms/CV’s or any other information requested from you as part of the recruitment process is destroyed.
