Those of you who know the Mephisto brand will be well aware of their reputation for quality and comfort and their suitability for walking and outdoor wear. Mephisto Niro is no exception. In the style of an open Mary Jane bar shoe, Niro comes in different colours and materials and has a textile mesh offering security while allowing your feet to feel the fresh air.

The design of this bar shoe is light, airy and breathable, keeping your feet cool and fresh during active wear on sunny Summer days. Offering you full foot support and comfort without you having to compromise on style, Niro has two adjustable velcro fastening straps that allow you to tighten or loosen the fit. The first of these straps wraps across the top arch of your foot, and the second wraps around the back of the heel.

Mephisto’s Niro has a soft, spongy, textile-lined insole that incorporates ‘bucket-seat technology’, an ‘anatomical curve’ and ‘climsolerelax’ features. These support every area of your foot, providing maximum shock absorption and facilitating each step you take from heel-strike to toe-off.

Forming a robust and durable foundation to this bar-shoe is a two-tone rubber sole unit that sits 3cm at the heel and forms an attractive wave-cut, scalloped edge around the vamp. Niro has a well-treaded, ‘allgrip’, slip-resistant outsole and shock absorbing system incorporated into the heel area of the sole unit. Superbly comfortable, this pretty, wide, G-fitting shoe will prove invaluable.

When your order arrives, please take the time to try on your new shoes on a carpeted area so you are happy they fit, look great and bring you joy!

If they don't, that's no problem. Due to Covid-19, we have temporarily extended our returns period from 30 to 100 days, and this applies to any items purchased from 1st Feb 2020. We will be happy to offer you an exchange, refund, credit note or gift voucher.
