A robust three-quarter boot made from thick, quality tanned leather, Fly’s Mes 142913 is available in a delicious dark brown (004), enriched ebony black (005), purple wine (-009) and cherry red (-001). The upper of 142913 is made from numerous sections of leather that are neatly stitched and together create a harmonious pattern of curves and angular shapes.

Drawing on yet another distinctive Fly trait, Mes 142913 has a large bronze buckle fastening on the outer edge of the vamp and a second, smaller bronze buckle attached to the outer side shaft on the calf. While they are largely decorative, the buckles provide some flexibility of fit by allowing you to adjust the tightness or looseness of the boot around your foot and calf. For ease of access Mes has a zip fastening that runs down the inner side shaft.

Making for an immediately comfortable fit, 142913 has soft textile-lined interior that is printed with Fly’s unique paisley-esque pattern. This extends to its spongy and supportive insole that can easily be removed and replaced with an orthotic if required. Together with Mes’ TPR sole unit, the insole creates a comfortable cushion underfoot. This is largely due to the numerous advantages of TPR as a sole substance. These include the fact that it is lightweight but hard wearing, flexible and shock absorbing. As well as performing a structural function the sole unit of Mes 142913 is equally fashionable. It is two-tone, has a scalloped undersole, curves down at the heel and up at the toe, and is joined to the upper with thick, bold sealed stitching that gives the impression of a welt.

If they don't, that's no problem. Due to Covid-19, we have temporarily extended our returns period from 30 to 100 days, and this applies to any items purchased from 1st Feb 2020. We will be happy to offer you an exchange, refund, credit note or gift voucher.
