A strikingly stylish ankle boot that is designed to show off the shape of your legs, Fly’s Yip 500505 has a chunky profile.

Unusual in design, 500505 has a black leather vamp that extends up the length of your feet to finish in an arc that descends at the ankle. Here the vamp meets Yip’s printed heel counter which similarly wraps around the back of heel to arc down at the ankle. These two leather sections meet at a diagonal that slants down from the ankle towards the sole nearest the toe. An easily accessible zip fastenings runs down this seam on the inner side shaft.

This dynamic diagonal design is repeated in the shape of Yip’s wedge shaped TPR sole unit. Sitting 5.5cm at the heel and curving up at the toe, the sole slopes downwards and inwards towards the floor. Furthermore, the arced shape of Yip 500505’s upper is repeated in the scalloped shape of its undersole.

As well as creating an attractive side-on profile Yip’s substantial wedge-shaped sole unit forms a hard-wearing and shock absorbing foundation underfoot. Facilitating this cushioned feeling is a spongy, textile-lined insole and paisley-printed Fly-fabric lining.

The soft, pliable leather upper of 500505 creases naturally at the point where the vamp curves up towards the heel. In doing so it lends this style a relaxed and coolly casual feel.

Yip 500505-059 is black with a printed pewter coloured heel counter, while Yip 500505-069 has a black crocodile print heel section with an oiled suede upper.

If they don't, that's no problem. Due to Covid-19, we have temporarily extended our returns period from 30 to 100 days, and this applies to any items purchased from 1st Feb 2020. We will be happy to offer you an exchange, refund, credit note or gift voucher.
